LOVE EARTH LOVE CHILDREN
What is Love Earth Love Children Art and Music aid?
Earth Identity Projects (President: Hiroko Kawahara; General
Director: Hiromi Inayoshi) is a nonprofit organization that was planned
in has been active since 1996, working under the leadership of
Hiromi Inayoshi, a multidisciplinary artist himself, on a mission to mar-
shal painting, design, photography, music, literature, theater,
cinema and all other forms of art to find solutions to the world’s prob-
lems and save the Earth and everything that lives on it—humanity,
children, all living creatures as the planet’s DNA—from the ravages
of global environmental problems, war, poverty, disaster, dis-
ease, and human rights abuses. It brings together artists and business
leaders from across the globe (all 193 UN member states plus
others) as the largest global aid project for love and peace in the 21st
century. Pemusee, its symbol character, was created as a collabo-
ration between Hiromi Inayoshi and Milton Glaser, one of America’s
foremost illustrators. In 2024, Hiromi Inayoshi collaborated
with composer Takashi Matsunaga to write “The Song of the Earth:
Love Earth Love Children” as a theme song for the expanding
global project. The first recording was made that year with Metropoli-
tan Opera sopranos Monica Yunus and Camille Zamora, and will
be released in 2026. Part of the revenue generated by “Love Earth Love
Children World Art and Music Aid” is donated to “the Love
Earth Love Children Fund” where it is used to address the many press-
ing issues that confront the world.
